Wouldn't it be better if you could make your pool cheaper to run?
Energise Leisure is dedicated to finding and keeping up to date with the best technologies available to help improve water quality, user experience, and cost-effectiveness of our customers' swimming pools and one of the easiest ways to reduce costs is use a more efficient pump.
When the time comes to replace a broken pump, many suppliers will suggest (and many owners also believe) it is easier and cheaper to stick with the same make of pump you already have when the time comes to replace it, because it means you don't have to adapt your existing pipework to meet different dimensions.
This is wrong. We can provide a variety of replacement swimming pool pumps, at fair prices, that don't require pipework changes*, that are more energy efficient than the pumps they are designed to replace.
What many people don't realise is that the pump they are paying to power is potentially a 20 or 30 year old design based on even older designs - modern pool pumps are more efficient and just because you are buying new doesn't mean you are buying modern. The majority of the changes and alterations made to some of these pumps and designs over the years have not been to improve them, but to make them ever-cheaper to produce (sometimes with reduced quality components).
It would be easy to stick with installing these pumps like many others do, but because Energise Leisure Ltd are "dedicated to finding and keeping up to date with the best technologies available" and because we remain independent of the incentive schemes that tie some businesses into specific suppliers or brands, we can therefore guarantee that any product we recommend is truly the best option for you (and not just for us).
How do we know they are the best? We've checked. Our replacement pump ranges are manufactured by Speck Pumps who are renowned for innovation, quality, reliability, and efficiency (check out one of the models available here that was featured by Pool and Spa Scene). There's a reason that "German engineering" is a positive trope and Speck Pumps are at the forefront of the contemporary swimming pool pump market.
The numbers add up, too:
A 1.1kW Sta-Rite 5P2R pump can be replaced with a 0.8kW alternative from Speck with a negligible reduction in flow rate.
A 0.55kW Hayward Super Pump can be replaced with a 0.45kW Speck Pump with no reduction in flow rate.
Over the course of the last several years, the number of new Speck pumps we've seen which have had to be returned for faults/repairs is by far the fewest of all the manufacturers we've dealt with. Quality and reliability should be high on anyone's list of pump must-haves, and we are completely confident that Speck Pumps are among the best swimming pool pumps available.
Don't just feel like you have to stick with what you've got. Contact Energise Leisure now on our contact page, at enquiries@energiseleisure.co.uk, or on 0333 577 9692 to find out if you could save money.
(*pipework match applies to some of the most common pumps in use from Astral, Hayward, Pentair, Sta-Rite, and others)
